Swan Kalamunda Health Service

Swan Kalamunda Health Service (SKHS) comprises the Swan campus in the Swan Valley and the Kalamunda campus set in the Darling Range, overlooking the Perth skyline.
SKHS is a secondary provider of healthcare. It is currently progressing towards general hospital status, with the opening of the new Midland Health Campus in 2013. Staff have a unique opportunity to be part of and have input into the clinical services redesign for the new campus.
The health service provides nurses with ongoing learning, development and comprehensive education support via the professional development nurse on each unit.
At present, the Swan campus has 194 beds and the Kalamunda campus has 33 beds. SKHS currently employees over 300 nurses and 50 doctors plus over 100 allied health professionals. Both campuses are approximately 30km from the city and are easily accessible by public transport.
