Responding to Major Events / Disruptions Fellowship

This fellowship, worth of up to $20,000 (can be granted to several people in smaller amounts), provides the opportunity for a nurse, or nurses, to embark on a study tour.

The tour is to examine innovations, best practice or evidence-based nursing in the field of responding to major events or disruptions, disaster preparedness and management, or departmental disaster planning or management of surge capacity.

The successful applicant(s) will have planned their study tour to meet ongoing professional development needs. The tour may include visiting national and/or international nursing centres of excellence.
