Returning to nursing or midwifery may be a daunting prospect for some. However, WA Health has streamlined the process by centrally coordinating and managing courses for nurses and midwives.

You can get back into the nursing and midwifery workforce by either regaining your registration or refreshing your skills. Additionally, there are courses available to help you increase your skills once you have been working for a period of time.

Courses are generally short in duration, free to eligible applicants who commit to working in the public health care system and a grant for financial assistance is also available (conditions apply).
