Please visit this webpage regularly for updates about new Refresher Pathway opportunities in 2013 or register your interest via the Nursing and Midwifery Office enquiries registry!!!

Nursing and midwifery refresher pathways are available to enrolled nurses, registered nurses and midwives who have been out of the acute clinical setting for a while.

They are designed to provide you with the opportunity to brush up on your skills in a supportive environment, allowing you to a smooth transition back into the acute hospital setting with confidence and competence.

In 2013 the Nursing and Midwifery Office and WA Health Hospitals will be offering   a new refresher pathway linked to employment within WA Health.  Nurses and midwives who wish to return to the acute clinical setting will be able to apply to their hospital of choice for a refresher pathway placement and have more flexibility to complete study modules online.

Refresher Pathway placements will be available from June 2013.

Nurses and midwives applying for a refresher pathway placement must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. More about refresher programs:
