The great thing about nursing and midwifery is that there is an area specialisation to suit just about everyone. You can choose to take your career as far as you want to go and there will always be a position available for your qualifications and skills.

In Western Australia there are three main types of nurses:

Each qualification requires a different skill level, knowledge base and qualification and WA Health encourages and supports all nurses and midwives to undertake further skills education and training.
