Professions available – nurse practitioner
Nurse practitioners are RNs who have undertaken a master’s level degree and are authorised by the relevant regulatory body to perform many of the duties of a physician. Such duties include referring patients directly to other health care professionals, prescribing medication and ordering diagnostic investigations.
